I need just bedroom furniture moved less than 10 miles away and everyone wants $200 + for the 45 minutes it would take to move this stuff from point A to B. Anyone know someone-something that would be more reasonable??

We used 3 men movers. It took most of the morning and I don't think we spent more than $300, but that was a house, not an apartment. I would give them a call. They were very nice and I believe it was by the hour.   Good Luck! 4951
Under the Businesses tab>Relocation Guide>Moving, I found these movers: www.kingwood.com/mov ing/There are several listed. Maybe if you mention KDC they will give you a good rate. 4951
I love Los Flores Movers. Â I've used them many, many times for personal moves and for business (used to work for a home builder and had to move sales offices and model homes). Â They always have a coupon on their website:http://www.losfloresmovers.com/tips.nxgTry to request Oscar or Roberto (team leads) for your move. Â Those guys are awesome! Â 4951
I also saw a moving van from ALL MY SONS. The van and the movers looked clean and professional. They've been around for a long time and thought about calling them when the time comes, likely after the first of the year. 4951
We've used All-Some movers for the last 3 moves and they were great. The last 2 moves were less than 5 miles apart so we used their hourly rate. I think it was $85/2 guys or $115/3 guys. I'm just not sure if they had something like a 2 hour minimum or not. 4951
Be hard pressed to get anybody in an actual business to tie up a truck and a couple guys for an hour or probably more for anything less than that. You might find some handyman types willing to take it on. 4951
