I am considering a tattoo and wanted to see if there was a "go to" tattoo parlor for the KW area? Suggestions? 4951

Circus Muse in Humble off 1st Street (off of 45) is a little scary driving around there, but the owner Osi is really good, cash only though. He can do that really cool, scary, detailed kind of work, but still good with the simple stuff! 4951

Why not get a finger cut off your hand?  It will be more unique. 4951

I don't get all the negativity about tattoos. If done tastefully, they can be beautiful and meaningful.  Just don't get one on your head,  EmoticonI have 6 and people who know me are shocked when they find out.  My tattoos are in places you can't see if I don't want you too. 4951

Because if it can't be processed to fit inside of someone's narrow paradigm then it undoubtedly must be inherently evil. Folks like this don't seek to understand, only to be understood. And, that's unfortunate for them. I've always considered tattoos to be "permanent reminders of temporary feelings". This is the first time in my life that I wish for a permanent reminder of a moment that I choose to never forget. If those folks can't at least empathize with that, it's a "them" problem, and I pray for them. Thanks for the feedback y'all. Even the silly ones. 4951

Anointed Ink in Huffman, clean, and good work.  Good, honest people too.  I too like tats, i like to hear peoples story behind them (sometimes).  There are great artists doing tats. 4951

Just as is the case with pretty much everything, some people like them and some people don't.

They can be a deal breaker when looking for jobs and even though they may look nice when fresh I have never seen them look good when they fade and your skin wrinkles. It's just not for everybody. I get the meaning side of them but I am sure there are other ways to honor people we love. 4951

@notfromhere - Yes, they can be deal breaker for a new job, that's where makeup/clothing can help if you are going into a job that appearances matter. And 20-30 years down the road, get a touch up just like any bodywork - maintenance is a must! 4951

For a tattoo that will last the rest of your life...you should broaden your search area and look into places downtown. A 30 minute drive is worth it when it comes to something so important. 4951

I'll say this.

My tattoos are not for you, they are for me. They are my scars that have made me who I am. Your approval is not requested.

Yes they are the stories of my life. They can make me laugh, and make me cry. Just like I, once young and bright, I grow older, fading and wrinkling along the way. None of that fades those memories, the laughter or the tears.
These scars, these stories are no different than yours, I just wish to carry them another way.

You may judge me by what you see, but that's on you and nothing about me. I don't judge you by the way you walk, or a scar I see upon your face. I don't whisper and look cross eyed, I don't judge your choices in life, the way you dress or adorn yourself.
So you go ahead and judge me if you must. That's about you and nothing to do with me. I'll still smile, I'll still cry. These pictures to me are more than fading art.

I sit and listen to your heart because that's the very most important part.
