Cite one example, please? Public education has successfully driven out anything like that, including, in most cases, any type of Christmas carol remotely related to the birth of Jesus, which, coincidentally, is the whole reason for Christmas.Chris, you are all about hyperbole, aren't  you, hon? I've noticed you're rarely able to back up your claims. Also, with this comment you've outed yourself as anti-Christian. I'll keep that in mind because that's your worldview and colors everything you say and write.
@HollyHobby: First of all, I am not anti-Christian, my wife and most of my family members are Christian. I am Not a Christian but that doesn't mean I don' support others in their faith, even you! HH, my only reason for posting what I did that you just replied to is that it is a 2 way street, if having kids in a public school to dresss up and recite the Koran is wrong so it is for kids to dress up as characters at Jesus birth. I have no problem with any religion being included in school curriculum if it is the purpose of the class to teach history and culture. For instance one can not study the Roman Empire without touching on Christianity. What I have a problem with is one religion being favored over another in a public school. If the child attends a RC parochial school or Jewish school or a Muslim school one expects religious teaching to be covered and have a high position in the education of the child. Here is a recent one:
