Yes! Like me! I come home from working in the field to office from home every afternoon and it goes out almost every afternoon lately! Infuriating!!!!!!! 4951

I don't know... I phoned the tech support and once it recognized my number it said there was a service outage in our area and they were working on it.  I didn't need to discuss it with anyone once I knew that they were aware of the problemI spent the time doing edits on soccer pictures from last Spring that I am going to put into a book for the kids so my time was not wasted. Overall I give Suddenlink high marks, we have less outages than I remember when it was the previous company and they seem to get things up and running pretty fast. An outage can happen from many things, sometimes it is equipment failure and sometimes a line is cut by a construction crew, etc. 4951

I've been having problems all day.  They are sending someone out tomorrow to check their equipment.  They had been solid for the last 10 years for me but lately they've really been dropping the ball.  My network has been cutting out every day for a few minutes here and there.  Since I'm work-from-home it's pretty important to me.  Fortunately I have my key devices set up to dynamically fail over to my wireless hotspot.  I was on the hotspot for most of the day today.   :-( 4951

Tech came out yesterday and checked my signal levels.  All looked great but their modem rebooted while he stood there next to it so he replaced it.  I pay for speeds up to 100Mbps and today I'm wallowing around at 3-5Mbps.  I know it's a first world problem, but this is becoming ridiculous.  They keep trying to hide under the guise of "we're upgrading our infrastructure in your area" which is about the worst excuse you could ever provide a customer.  For the past couple of decades I've been designing hideously complex data networks in the financial sector for a living.  When we upgrade a client's network we stage our moves in a way as to provide minimal...I'm talking measured in seconds and minutes...disruption to their footprint.  This totally feels like SuddenLink hired a couple of high school nerds to throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks.  Frustrating.  Add to it that it takes them 2 days to get a tech to come out.  Really no question as to why they have such a bad name in our area.  I'd honestly be embarrassed to work for them. 4951

Everyday my internet / phone goes out around 9 am and 3:00 pm. It's been doing this for almost 2 mths. Finally I made an appt last week to have them come out. The day before the appt, they called and said they updated and fixed the issues so I cancelled. That afternoon it went out again. 4951

I'm paying for 30 days of service but feel like I'm only getting about half that, I hate suddenlink. 4951

@sweetie: When the lady told me the tech couldn't make it out for two days I asked if she was going to prorate my bill accordingly.  She was dismissive...just like the rest of their customer service.

@sweetie: When the lady told me the tech couldn't make it out for two days I asked if she was going to prorate my bill accordingly.  She was dismissive...just like the rest of their customer service.

I've asked that before and I was told to go to the office and find someone to talk to about it . They will then let you know if the outage applies to a rebate. I said it's not a rebate it's for service not rendered! I got the runaround too. They are awful. 4951
