We had really bad spiders, I hear because this house was just built. So we had Ballard's pest control come out 2 weeks ago. Now I keep finding roaches in the dishwasher we had never seen before. Never seen a single roach before. We keep the kitchen clean and never leave food out. The little spiders we had been seeing have seemed to morph into jumbo spiders. I contacted them and they said it was normal to see more living bugs then before because it flushed them all out. I still haven't seen a dead bug yet either. Anyone know what could be going on? 4951

Not sure about flushing them out! I would hope to see more dead bugs after a treatment! But I think the hot and dry weather does cause some bugs to find entry to our homes. I have seen a few recently in our kitchen and I know they weren't there a few months ago when I was re-sheetrocking the walls before I put  my new cabinets in. 4951

For a new build, it should have been treated for bugs, both house and yard.

Seems like the thing to do is get a second opinion from another company if the first doesn't make it right. 4951

Roaches must have been living in your walls, the poison you had sprayed inside your house made than come out. no telling how many dead ones are inside your walls. Spiders are notoriously hard to kill with general poison, unless sprayed directly. Also their presence usually means food is present for them, or in other words, insects. No food, they would relocate top where food is. 4951

When we had our house built we had similar issues. Found a few roaches and a few spider. After a few house got built up on our cul de sac it seemed to subside. Get yourself a pest control company. That has helped tremendously 4951

Were you there as the house was being built? Could they have left food remnants in the walls as the house was built?

We were lucky that our builder required no food remnants to be left kn property. 4951
