Last night before going to bed I looked outside and saw a truck parked by my neighbors house around 1:00AM. We live at the end of a U shaped street and the truck was down at the bottom of the U. My neighbor is out of town so I knew it was not him. My neighbor has a son that visits sometimes so I thought it might be him. I waited about five minutes then decided to go out and see who it was. When I got close to the truck a man emerged from the back of my neighbors house. I told him to stop and he immediately put his hands up. I asked him who he was and what he was doing. He said he was trying to find his friend Camerons house.I took a picture of his license plate and a not so good one of him before he drove away. I told him to stop but he did not. I called the police and it took them bought 15 min to come out. They checked the house and said it was still locked. The garage side door was unlocked so he might of been in there. The cops said the plates were from Austin. They said they would drive around and look for him but stayed another 40 minutes after I went inside. Also we had a car trailer stolen from the front of our house a couple of weeks ago. There are thief's here in our neighborhood. Just thought everyone should know about this.

He was driving a gold colored Chevy 1500 Extended Cab Pickup with a tool box in the back. He had some facial hair and was about 6'2".

"He said he was trying to find his friend Camerons house."  Really, dude?  So we are supposed to believe you only know what Cameron's house looks like from the backyard?  Or perhaps Cameron lives in someones backyard?  Ugh, stupid dishonest people.  You should get an extra fine on top of your arrest for bad excuses.  Hope they catch this dirtbag. 4951

It's great you stopped a burglary but please be careful. You never know if the burglar is armed. I doubt he will be back. Good job. 4951
