So I just got some chicken nuggets at Burger King and found a big bone in one. Now I'm sick to my stomach wondering what else was in them. Should I contact the manager? Is there anything he can really do except refund my whopping $3? 4951

You really do have the worst luck! Yes, I would call, just to make them aware. 4951

That's why you should only eat the chicken fries. Man I love those things lol. Seriously though, talk to the manager. It could be a bad batch, and you can save other people from dealing with that as well. 4951

My 3 year old is eating Bk nuggets tonight.  From the Atascocita location.  So far no complaints.  4951

Mine was from the Cleveland location. I really wanted chicken fries but I had a coupon for a large fry and 10 piece nugget for $3...I wish I had coughed up the extra money for the chicken fries. I called to let them know. I guess someone else had complained earlier about the same thing. He offered a refund but I didn't want to drive all the way back after I got off work for $3.

Usually the bones and cartlidge get ground up and added to the slurry (I mean, nugget). Mmmmm! 4951

@donnatella

Thanks. I have worked on production lines in these sort of processing plants and the process is disgusting. All white meat is a very loose term.

Breast trimmings are cut (scraps), eviscerated with bones and cartilage, ground and then extruded at high pressure to form a 40" wide paste on a conveyor. Then "nuggets" are cut out of the sheet by a roller (think giant cookie cutter), breaded in a tumbler, dunked in a generous serving of corn syrup as well as a final drench of several preservatives dumped into hoppers via 80lb bags.

I make my own nuggets from full, organic breasts; fry and season as I see fit and I know then exactly what is in them....!

If you can get ten for 99 cents and the company is still profitable....shouldn't we be curious as to how that is possible....?

I don't get nuggets very often. Actually, I prefer the chicken strips (but not McDonalds or BK) where you can see that it is real white meat breast strips. Chick Fil-A, has great strips and even nuggets where you can see they are white meat pieces. 4951

I prefer Chick-Fil-A too but the only drive thru choices I have while at work is McDonalds, Burger King, Dairy Queen, Taco Bell, Popeyes, Churches, Whataburger, Sonic and Jack in the Box. They are all so gross now. It had been months since I had been to Burger King and I decided to give it a shot. Oh, we have the pizza place too but...if only Taco Cabana, Panera, Chick FIL A and Pollo Tropical were closer Emoticon. 4951

I had the same thing happen before, years ago, in a kids nugget meal. I called the corporate office to report it and they sent me an apology letter in the mail asking me to send them the bone in their envelope, which required postage to be sent. I was not happy with the way they handeled The situation. No offer of a replacement meal or any other food item. I did not expect a lot but at least a free food coupon or two to maybe cover the meal cost. It was close to an inch long and it was curved. It looked like the small curved bones on the underneath side of the breast. It could have been pretty dangerous had the child swallowed it.

I hope you have a better experience in your dealings with them.

Expectations are too high. Fast food is garbage food and served at quantity...not quality. sad but true.
