I don't know what the university's policy is, but I personally always distance myself from idiots.  It's worked out well for me. 4951

I'd think they'd be more concerned about her arrest on assault charges. Free speech gives you a right to be stupid, but punching someone repeatedly in the head is still universally verboten. 4951

Does she work there or is she a student?

If she's a student, I'd say let her stay and hopefully someone along the line can educate her on how not to be stupid. If she's an employee, I say cut the ties. 4951

I have no idea what this is about. What Conroe woman? Which slain officer? What school? Why are we listening to her opinion? 4951

@donnatella: look at her YouTube channel. You might change your mind. Bragging about being the neighborhood dope dealer, always high, proponent of doing drugs. If she is getting one cent of financial aid, she should be booted.

@BooBear:

Monica Foy...though I thought she was from the Woodlands.
Tweeted that the Houston deputy deserved to be murdered.
SHSU I believe. English Major which means she wants to teach your kids.

She's just an idiot among the masses who would have gone mostly unnoticed if she weren't from Houston & hadn't been noticed by a news outlet. That led to a bunch of people retweeting & figuring out where she lived, figuring out online that she had an outstanding warrant for assault & all that info being forwarded to the authorities. Unfortunately for her, she forgot the part about not being part of a violent group (black lives matter...no, she's not black) without hiding your real name if you have a record. She deleted all her accounts, but not fast enough. 4951

@chilladahun: She's 5000 variations of full-on stupid. Putting all that out in public and then attending a university with a nationally known College of Criminal Justice -- I hope she pays dearly for her stupidity.

@Ducatisti: you got it backwards. She was re-tweeted over and over to the point of being viral, AFTER that, the news media picked it up.

The Tweet in question:I don't see where she said he deserved to be murdered, just asking what if anything he may have done to have the ire of Shannon Miles.I think people have made a mountain out of a molehill reading into it what they want it to say but it does speak to a question I've been asking as well. I cannot fathom the shooter just picking a cop at random to shoot, and emptying his handgun into him. Behaviorists will tell you a shooting to that extreme speaks to a personal nature. A crime of passion. It just doesn't make sense. How intense must the hate inside you be to discharge a firearm into the back of someones head at point blank range 12-13 times? There is either something in play that hasn't made the news, or Miles is nucking futs.I also find it odd that the news media isn't making any mention of the type of firearm used but focusing instead on "15 round capacity" or "Emptied all 15 rounds" or some other version of the same. Only through extensive searching could I find one reference to it being a .40 S&W, most likely a M&ampEmoticon40. 4951
