There is an invasion of teeny tiny ants in the bath near the sinks and tub. Never had them before and the quantity is maddening.

Squashed em, ran hot water in the sinks and tub, vinegar down all the drains.

Exterminator was here just a few days ago for our regular treatment.

Can't figure out the source.

How else to make them feel unwanted / dead?

We had them in the kitchen on the window sill above the sink. Our exterminator put a little clear bait trap, had some clear gooey bait in it. Ants no more.

They are crazy ants. The more you wipe them with colox wipes the more you divide them.
Check you outlets and circuit boxes. All electronic stuff too. They also like the pantry and bathroom. Drove me about nuts.
They come in tropical plants. Ask a nursery.

Yes exterminator gave me a syringe with clear stuff.
I would cut a business card in half or those stupid plastic ones everyone sends (I use them to spread all kinds of goop) cut those in four and put a pinhead size dot of stuff on it. Those ants brought it back to the nest.
I say circuit box because I was cutting glass one day and notice them coming in the expansion seam straight up and into the box.
very destructive little things. 4951

We put diatomaceous earth down since we have cats that like going everywhere in the house(cabinets, drawers, etc).  4951

Terro Liquid Ant Baits worked great and we purchased "Home Sentinel" they plug into the outlet.  Have not seen any pest in the house.  I still put Terro Liquid Ant on the top of my fence post to keep them away from the house. 4951

Hubby uses Termidor- ONLY TO BE USED OUTSIDE. He sprays the foundation and the fence posts and anywhere the little buggers come in. It's very effective- have not seen them in my house in 2 years - I think he sprays once a year.it is toxic so be careful! 4951

We had them for a short while. Seems like it was after the days and days of rain.

The hubs hit the outside with all kinds of stuff and we finally got rid of them. He treated the inside bathroom vanity area daily as well.

I grind salt, and mix it with vinegar for out side ant. After I pour that on I hit them with a kettle of boiling water.

What I found out was the eggs are close to the top, and the survivors will take the dead ants to a grave pile. Then these carrion flies come.
These are fire ants. Also right now they have 6 maybe 7 outlets. Each one about 2 to 3 feet apart and they are lined right in a line down the yard.
Tomorrow I am gonna hit both ends working towards the center mound and see if that don't get em.
yes I have a quarter acre I am fighting them. 4951

@bubbleyes72:

These are especially small - roughly flea sized. Segmented body like an ant.

Since they are in the vicinity of all if the toiletries, I don't want to over chemical the area. Hopefully the Terro product will help.
