Waze is great. I use it even when I know where I'm going. If there's an accident ahead, it will show you a shortcut to get around it. A few years ago, it showed me a faster way to get to work that I would have never thought of. 4951
I use it to judge the best route, to get an exact ETA, and I like getting the warnings of things ahead. With a commute like mine, it takes several tools to get their: Houston Transtar Map, WAZE and occasionally my GPS. 4951
I use it on my daily trip to work over in Tomball. It really helps with accident and police alerts. I also like how it estimates my arrival time based on all that is going on traffic-wise. I'm at the point where I don't leave home without my phone power cord (I have the adaptor already in the car), just in case. Those things are so affordable anymore, it just makes sense. 4951
Its a great app for long trips, I work within 15 miles from the house so I don't use it on the daily but I definitely recommend it for long trips. People point out cops and accidents and even cars on the road and that is all I really use it for. 4951
Love Waze. I was driving to Rice over the summer and used it to look for alternative routes instead of 59....took me downtown instead of past GRB and it amazed me. Also great for finding random places in areas yoy my not know. You can type or speak in the name of a business and it will direct you to the closest one. We were in the Spring area last weekend. We decided we wanted ice cream b/c we just finished a hot activity. Before we got started out I looked for a Baskin Robbins and we found one 2 mules away. And I can't tell you how m ay Starbucks it has found me (haha) 4951
