I'll come out and admit it... I am not a Keurig or single serve fan of coffee makers. And I don't like the ones with the glass caraffs that cook the coffee for a few hours until it goes from American style to Turkish. When you can stand a spoon up in your coffee you know it's overcooked. We like drip coffee makers that use a thermal carafe. We like it because it makes coffee the way we like and keeps it hot without cooking it. I got our last one that died last night at Amazon for $65 three years ago. It's a Hamilton Beach. I go look today and it's $89 with Amazon Prime free shipping.... No way. I do some searches and find it for $55 at Target and $69 at BB&B but they say it won't get to me until next week some time. Can't wait that long so I'm headed out. 4951
Keurig now makes a nice one that brews a pot. Â it is very pricey though. Â I have a Mr Coffee you can have.... Regular old fashioned Mr Coffee that works fine, also have two Gevalia brand Mr Coffee type brewers that I never use anymore. 4951
Take your Bed Bath and Beyond coupons and check out their regular coffee ot supply. From what I hear, Bunn makes the best "regular pot" of coffee. Again, it's an investment piece, but they last forever. 4951

@donnatella: Do you like it better than the single cup? Â I am considering it....
@tatertot58: This model does both. It's just a matter of changing the setting on the home screen. Hubs uses the carafe on the weekends. I'm just a by-the-cup user. 4951
I know you said you don't want a single-cup brewer, but I swear the Senseo machines make THE best cup of coffee. Â The pressurized system creates crema at the top. Â Delish! Â They don't make the machines anymore but I've bought two on eBay. Â New they were right at $100 a few years ago, but mine haven't cost me more than $60.00, shipping included. The pods can be a bit difficult to find but I have no trouble finding that at HEB. Â Good luck! 4951
We got a Bunn with a thermal carafe. It keeps the water waiting to brew hot, so when you add water for the amount you want to make it makes the coffee with the same amount out of the stored hot water, a full pot in about 3 minutes. It was an Xmas present from hubby. (I asked for it) 4951
