It's not only Chrysler drivers that have to worry about hackers taking control of their cars from afar. UC San Diego researchers have found that you can control features on cars of many makes by exploiting vulnerabilities in cellular-capable dongles that are sometimes plugged into the vehicles' OBD-II ports, such as insurance trackers and driving efficiency tools.LINK 4951

I saw an article last year on all these popular Bluetooth devices like home thermostats, etc that hackers can get into and tell when you will be out of your home making it easier to break in. They said that most of the folks who develop these devices swear they would never use them because of the lax security 4951
