I have an old cast iron fireplace frame that looks to be from perhaps Victorian period that I need to sell and get out of my garage. It is super heavy and really a gorgeous piece just I have no use for it. Where would you suggest I take this to have it appraised and perhaps sell? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
@MonkeyMom97: Reeves on 59 by the river might be able to appraise it for you.. She sometimes will purchase the item if interested. You may be able to send her a picture after speaking to her...  Debbie Reeves is her name she is a client of ours...  Feel free to send a pic to robertbradshaw1012@yahoo.com he is the auctioneer for Texas Auctioneers - and my husband.. He sometimes will buy items outright, if you are interested in consigning it into an auction just let him know - he can give you an idea of what it might birng... but it is an absolute auction so if consigned it will go to the highest bidder..   Good luck.
