There isn't enough Xanax in the world. He takes very scary risks and makes very scary assumptions for someone learning and driving just a few months. And OMG argues about everything!!! Knows it ALL!! 4951

@donnatella:  When our kids were learning to drive, Debbie was the nervous one.  I would just remain calm and give them instructions (I was outwardly calm, internally I was nervous!).  They preferred to have me as the passenger.  I started them off by going to the nearby elementary school when the parking lot was deserted and have them get a feel for accelerating, stopping, turning, and even parking.  It helped when they later took driving lessons. Our daughter was more "know it all" than our son.  I just let her make a few mistakes until she realized that she didn't know it all.  BTW, when I was the passenger when she was driving, I discreetly kept my left hand on the emergency brake handle. 4951
