If I ever have to leave Kingwood, I'll cry. I could cry just thinking about it. And, to understand that, you would have had to have lived in Phoenix for 40 years. 4951

@HollyHobby: So you didn't like the Phoenix area?  Or just looking for a different scenery?  Every time I visit Arizona, I want to move there.  What's not to like?  The town is clean and sunny.

@blueyes:  Non-stop heat. Temps of 105 at 10 p.m. at night. No break for weeks, months on end. Some people love it, but I hated it.Also, I craved greenery, big trees, pines, and after that many years, it wasn't a positive place for me to be anymore.Yes, it's clean in most parts of town. I will say that for it.  Emoticon

@HollyHobby: I also like the fact that they don't allow a lot of signs to clutter the freeways and streets so you can enjoy the scenery.  Coming back to Texas, it was instantly noticed how our towns look junky from too many signs everywhere.

@RogueHippEE:

Sorry for the closing delay!
Ours was only on the market for a few days before we had a signed contract. The contract and everything was signed in early June.
We are going through a relocation company, so we had to go through all of that paperwork. It took much longer than I expected.

@GoldenGirl:
We are going to Calgary.
I have not read many good books lately, so I would not have been a good book source.
Are you reading any good ones?
