I really like the gas points I get by shopping at Kroger. I'll be able to deduct 30 cents off my next fill-up. 4951

I usually shop at Kroger but there's some stuff that's so expensive. I'm almost thinking of running to Walmart to save some $. 4951

For me, it's Kroger all the way.  They have the best seafood sales.I go to Randall's for specialty items like my gluten free desserts. 4951

If you have the time. Kroger for produce and some beef. HEB for meats of all kinds and Walmart for center isle items. Use the discount card at Kroger. Take advantage of HEB combo locos and use the Walmart savings catcher to save there as well. 4951

Also take a Kroger survey every week to rack up fuel points and save on gas too. 4951

Kroger....I like their selection of organic foods and their customer service is better. I was once looking for a product HEB used to sell. The manager said it was discontinued, I replied saying I don't think so, Kroger still sells it. Mind you, I was kind and polite. He then replied with "Maybe you should shop at Kroger". So I do. Kroger told me they would look into ordering Hemp seeds, because HEB has them and I would prefer to never step foot back into the store. Not to mention I've witnessed the managers treating the cashiers and sackers rudely. I do not care for HEB and yes I've contacted corporate over their rudeness and lack of customer service. 4951

Went to HEB, next time will go back to Kroger. I think there is more variety there. Aisles too small. 4951

But to answer your question, kroger all the way. The local small one except for specialty items from the big one.

@Stealth83:

I agree. Should stick with the familiar. 4951

Aren't we lucky these businesses decided to build here to give us all these choices. I remember growing up and we had just one grocery in the town.

@Stealth83: I am moving to a place where there is only one grocery store-about 15miles away....can't wait!! We do have a Dairy Queen though Emoticon
