HiI had a weird guy knocking on my door with 2 teenagers holding clipboards. He was very aggressive and wanted me to open the door to talk to him. I think he was trying to sell me something, but it was weird.Anyone else experience that tonight? I live in Sherwood Trail 4951
Vivint. And the guy wouldn't shut up. My son opened the door -- I've instructed him that we are under no obligation to open the door to our home just because someone knocks. 4951
It blows my mind that people come and sell stuff at night. It is not safe on any end to do that. Besides not knowing who/how someone will answer a door at night, it's not safe to walk around in the dark. I never really noticed it when I lived up north as much as I do down here. Maybe because its warmer, people are more inclined to take those kinds of jobs? 4951
Yes we have a few times. They were very consistent and pushy to the point of my Husband having to tell them, "we will call the cops if you dont leave us alone." 4951
Very common- I let my dogs answer the door. Funny they have nothing to say when I open the door and 3 snarling dogs are behind me just waiting....... 4951
I yelled from the kitchen, "Go away. I don't know you, and you don't know me!" I would not have said anything, but he saw when I walked from the hallway to the kitchen 4951
I hope they don't knock. I don't want to have to start throwing things at them and spouting obscenities, but I will if I have to. They need to learn to leave us alone! 4951

@HollyHobby: I was actually insulted by him after I asked him to go away

I am in Greentree and I also had the Vivint guy with the clipboard. He was texting on his phone while knocking on the door several times. He just stood there waiting for me to come open the door. He then walks not down my sidewalk, but across my grass onto the next home. I thought there was a sign clearly marked at the entrance... No soliciting! 4951
He whipped out his iPad and wouldn't stop talking. Finally I just shut the door. Part of me felt bad this young kid trying to get business but way too pushy. 4951
