>> I used to have a small ladder on my porch with potted plants on the ladder steps. Someone took the ladder but left the plants... It was on a Mother's Day weekend... Guess they wanted the ladder but weregoing to purchase new plants for their Mom's gift!!
@klp1972:
I had all my potted plants stolen on mother's day many years ago. When I started figuring out just how many dollars it represented, I actually filled out a police report. It did nothing but to give me an avenue to vent. Some of the pottery had come back (quite heavily too) from a vacation in Mexico.

My dh asked me why I don't create yard art like I used to?
People don't respect anything or anyone anymore. If they like it or can sell it, they take it.
Reminds me of the story where the kids motorized car was out front in the yard. While getting something inside someone decided they must be giving it away for free and took it. It was not at the curb with free on it.
The grill I gave the young man yesterday sat for a year and did not get used. It wasn't working for us but we paid over 100. He had a need, but didn't look at it and say, I'll take that. Well until I asked him if he wanted it. He took a look and said are you sure, it looks brand new. Yeah, all my stuff I take care of. It's 4 years old, I would give away junk unless you wanted it for scrap.
I have very nice neighbors. THANK YOU JESUS!
It's 4 streets of bliss.
