>> The firework show this year was incredibly disappointing. We have been watching since the first show and this was by far the worst. I wonder how much money was actually put into the show this year.....
@JoshuaHudson: lots of people feel this way, its ok to have an opinion. Yes it was free, no most of us had no investment in it, yes we should appreciate the effort, of course kids still had fun, but.......
Our country is in distress, we all feel like we are losing freedoms and we live in a very nice community that for decades has put on a fantastic show, it was a let down when many people needed a patriotic boost. Of all years this was one year I was hoping foru a bang up heads up American boost from our community and instead all I got out of it was...bang, boom, there we did it, go home.....lol
@Burnsway:
Wow, what a crock of BS. You are in the wrong venue for a life altering event. Next time you all need to go to the big show in Houston.
We are pretty lucky to get anything at all. *****ing about it seems really unfair to the people that put it together.
@ET: totally 100% agree. Maybe next year everyone should ante up and pitch in instead of whining. When we moved here I thought this community was amazing for all the Town Center doings, the parades ect.
And for that matter I'm tired of all the complaining about how horrible our country is. In my opinion a whole lot of us need a different perspective. I just got back from Germany- it was different and amazing. BUT I was happy to be back in the best country in the world!!!
If you see the country in distress then roll up your sleeves and get to work for change. I see Feedom at work- it's not always perfect but it does work. A trip outside the U.S. Will show you that. I suggest Korea for a total lack of freedom or India for a nice look at the caste system. Germany was good for seeing a rules based society where life is lived a little slower and everyone follows the rules.
The USA rocks and so does Kingwood
