@HollyHobby: How's our little buddy doing today, and how did he do overnight? Do you know anything about him? It sounded like
@lola knew something about his story....
@klp1972: Â I hate keeping him outside, but he's a pee-er. He peed on my flip flop and will randomly lift his leg anywhere. We have cats and I'm afraid he would try to mark their territories or that of our dog. I'd bring him inside the house but I'm already walking on very shaky ice with my husband right now.The dog has a nice temperament and is friendly but needs some training. I don't know if he's housebroken or not -- can't risk finding out. He's a very beautiful boy and was always with that other white dog whenever we saw them out. Very odd that the owner would only take the white dog -- or was reluctant enough to take the brown dog to the point that suspicions were raised that he planned to just dump him.The dog is a barker, though. If I could bring him inside, I don't think that would be a problem. He needs to be in a situation where he can be indoors. He's friendly and obviously wants to be included. Our dog does not like him at all. I have to literally shove her out the back door, and last night the brown dog was trying to pound his way through our sliding glass door into the house. Â
I wish I had a better report, but if there is another foster home to be found, that needs to happen quickly. My dilemma is that he barks a lot outside and he wants inside, but if I bring him inside, he will certainly start peeing and marking. Â
On the plus side, like I said, nice temperament, friendly with our dog (it's not his fault she doesn't like him), he does calm down and will nap. I like him and I know that his future family/owner will like him, too.
