Does anyone go to Las Vegas enough to recommend a reasonably priced nice hotel on the Strip?  All the hotels I keep checking (which isn't many) are $400+ a night.  We're looking for something less than that if it exists. 4951

The only time I've been we stayed in The Aria but it was company paid, it was nice but no idea what it cost . Google "cheap Vegas vacations" unless you are trying to go during a big event, you should be able to find something cheaper than that including airfare. 4951

In November we stated at the MGM Grand and we used a Southwest Airlines vacation package. If you plan well in advance you can actually play a game to earn comps. It's available on phones (two apps) and on Facebook. Look up MyVegas Slots. My wife and I played for about a year before our trip. We received about $600 in comps including show tickets (3rd row center for Cirque), food, aquarium tickets, free drinks, etc. We did not pay anything to play the game although they will offer to sell you additional chips! 4951

When you going?  I just plugged some late July dates into the Hilton site and got lots of things for under $150. 4951

Not sure what sites you're checking, but I've never paid more than $60 a night for a room on the strip. Check harrahs.com there are lots of specials there. Some rooms for $29.

If you are only looking at Bellagio, Venetian, etc then you are going to pay more.

Places I have stayed include
Cesar's palace
Ballys
Paris
Flamingo
Harrahs
Treasure island

You can also check booking.com or hotels.com for some good deals.

I prefer staying in old Vegas and going to visit the strip. 4951

for $75 and up[I used this site last time I went, I stayed at the MGM Grand for about $80 per night.  I know it may change based on individual dates, but it looks like you would be in the $90 to $150 range here. 4951
