DH & I said if Garth Brooks ever made it back to Houston, we would be going. Last night was that night, and man was it a show! The Toyota Center was packed. He played all the classics with just as much energy as ever. It was an extraordinary (and overdue) date night. 4951
Yep, but I like the way he priced tickets. Every seat in the house was $75. First come, first serve. We had good front & center seats. I'm sure all 8 shows will be packed.
Edited to add: you are right though... Lots o revenue 4951

my hubby & his friend Andy ran into Garth & Trisha at the truck show , he said they were very nice .I asked him if he got an autographed picture & he said "NO" , they didn't have any on them (LOL) .I love Grath's music & I watch Trisha's cooking show every Saturday . 4951
We went to the 10pm Friday show and got home at 3am. He puts on a heck of a concert. So full of energy that he feeds off the crowd. It was definitly worth more than the 75 charges per ticket in my opinion. A class act for sure. 4951

I heard there was quite a bit of gridlock Friday night b/c he went over really late with the 7:00 show. Is that true? (He obviously made up for it). And yes, definitely a class-act who gives the crowd their money's worth! 4951

It was quite a bit of gridlock with no real organization that we could see in getting in. We got there at 9 and sat on the benches next to the Hilton until the lines went down. He did wait until everyone was inside before starting up. 4951
