How is the longevity of Nissan Altima in comparison to the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry?

Looking to get a car I can get 200,000 miles on before the body and engine fall apart. 4951

On my wife 2002 Nissan Altima I have already replaced a coil and struts and catalytic converter at 120,000 miles. Not a good ratio. 4951

It will get it. They are very dependable. For one year we had those for company cars.  4951

I have lot's of peeps coming by with 2014's Nissan Altima s models with 20 to 30K milesand trade value is around 12K and most still owe near 18 to 20K on them. Guess resaleis no biggy if you plan on driving it 200,000 miles. 4951

We have a Volvo that has been a money pit for years, we are only keeping it now so we can trade it in for something for Ds soon.  Talked to our independent Volvo repair guy and he said this is typical with European cars, that as they age (100k ish miles) they will pretty regularly need expensive fixes.He said that generally Japanese run longer problem free, before needing big repairs.  I like driving it, but I wouldn't buy a Volvo again, I would lease for 3 years and be done with it  Emoticon 4951

@squirtismyboy:   Very true!  The amounts of money needed to maintain them may differ.

@squirtismyboy:
My husbands Mitsubishi has about 120,000 miles on it but the window seals are no good, the back door doesn't stay up, the flooring is shot, etc... The engine still runs fine but needs new rotors, brakes , etc.. 4951
