One of mine goes bonkers when I leave and will cry the whole time I'm gone unless she is in her crate. If I crate her before I leave, or the boys put her in there she is fine. The crate is her safe place. She will often go in there to nap even when we are all home. Crate training should solve the problem. Is someone there after you leave to see how she acts a few minutes after you're gone? Maybe she stops acting crazy after a minute or so.
@topcat:
For the most part when we are gone he is in his crate but when we are home he is free. We leave him out if we are just gone for a bit but even then like at night when its time to shut it down he will go to his crate but when we shut the door he goes berserk and barks and jumps at door so we dont close it . Major spazz...maybe its just his dna ...
