They have been showing the chick saying she wanted to punch her patient in the face. Claimed she didn't see hemriods but marked it like she removed them, essentially charging his insurance or him out of pocket for a not need procedures.

@SenseOfHumor:

On the news last night. The man went in and recorded post op instructions. He forgot to turn his phone off and the doc was saying she wanted to punch him in the face, told her team not to lean on him as they might get sphylis, and although he had no hemriods she was gonna mark them anyway.

She's not working there anymore and I can't remember her name.
I call her nasty doc.

What a world. So classless

I heard about this, it's just wrong! But, I'm not surprised. A hairdresser was once telling me stories her daughter shared with her about colonoscopy patients. Daughter was not the Dr, but a tech of some sort. I was not engaging or encouraging this conversation. What ever happened to discretion. 4951

@MarT:

While I company this weekend I had to stress the fact that no matter where you go you are being recorded and filmed. Everyone is big brother. Everyone's gone crazy.
Saturday at traders village I spent the time chasing an 11 yr old that hasn't been off an 80 acre property except to go to school and wally world.
She had no understanding of big city and the creeps that reside.
Sad but a tad relieved she did not stay the month. I was exhausted from just the weekend.

I do not allow a doctor or dentist to put me out or inject me. Ok the dentists numbs me but nobody gets to knock me out.

I wonder how many times this doctor told people they had things or problems they really didn't, how many prescriptions she had people on they did not need.
I question everything and get a second opinion without telling them I saw someone.

This doesn't surprise me one bit honestly. When I did my OR rotation when I was in school, the doctor was talking really poorly about the patients who were under. It was in more of a joking matter, but I could see people getting upset about it if they heard what was said. 4951

Most Doctors joke around while they are operating, I've seen it, my mother has seen it while working in oral/maxillofacial surgery as a surgical dental assistant. Not ever about punching them in the face, but other things. More in a joking manner though, nothing violent like this jerk. I agree that this Dr should be punished. 4951

Saw the video on facebook yesterday. When my daughter first showed sign something wasn't right after her dental appointment that changed our lives 4 years ago and we ended up in the Er. They felt her heart wasnt right so sent her on an ambulance to a cardiologist in clear lake. The first thing he asked was if there was a video in the dental room because he lectures his workers to be extremely careful of what they say in a room with a patient that is under. Said that many times subconscious can hear or pick up whats being said and cause anxiety later. He gave an hypothetical example as maybe they innocently were talking about a news clip of losing a patient. It could cause the patient subconscious to think its them. Causing severe anxiety and heart rate acceleration. Unfortunately thats when we found out what really happened because my daughter told him she was never out and described what happened from minute one to the end. But the actions and behavior of these three in the video is unacceptable . The two things that **** me off the most was making false stuff on his chart and planning a fake escape when he wakes and starts asking questions. 4951

There is no excuse for it. I don't care how much stress you have on the job, maintain professional behavior! They are well compensated for what they do and can certainly be respectful to those that they serve. Maybe if they were recorded more often they would think twice before disrespecting their patients.  I hope she loses her license to practice. I have volunteered with nursing home patients and severally disabled children that are nonverbal. I always think of what I say in their presence whether they are responsive or not.  A person's dignity should not be devalued. We will all be at the mercy of others one day. I would hope people could think how they would want their loved one's treated if they have no other reason to be kind and cautious about what they say in a patient's presence. 4951

Yrs ago while my ex and I were out of town his dad had a stroke. We were a state away and hurried home. When we arrived at his room, I turned to go in and in his coma he had restless legs, kicking his blankets off. All his family jewels hanging out for anyone walking by to see. They had a camera on him so they saw.
I hurried out and let them know this man is a Navy vet, he speaks thirteen languages and I never ever want to see him in disarray and in a disrespectful position. They hurried in but my ex had already fix it making his dad comfortable.

Why do people go into a field and then do a shitzy job?
I don't care if you clean toilets or run a high level company. Show some pride in a job well done. 4951
