So DH & I ended up going to Los Cucos in Kingwood for dinner tonight. Our server was good & the woman who brought the chips & drinks was seriously just awesome. Food came & the manager walked up & asked if everything was ok. I would not have addressed the issue with my taco, but he asked! Plus DH was giving me "the look" urging me to speak up. So I told the manager what was up with my taco. He not only apologized & brought me another, but he comped us for the price of an a la carte taco for the inconvenience even though the taco was included with my meal, apologied again, & said he wanted to see us back in there! We go for brunch occasionally but not often for dinner. We'll be back for sure though. We were quick to tell him how great the other food & everything else was, then brag on our awesome service to him. I appreciated that the manager not only asked in the first place but he apologized & made it right by bringing another. To comp the price of a taco even though it's included in my meal, I thought was a really class act thing to do. Just thought I'd share my experience with yall!
@Heathur: Sounds y'all had a great dinner. Anniversary dinner doesn't have to be fancy or pricey. Enjoying the time together having a good time is what's important. Happy anniversary!
