Some guy in a small gray car (like a corolla) just came up while my son was cleaning out our van, pulled up, rolled the window down, held up a phone, a flash, then drove off. My son doesn't recognize the car or the guy. I'm seriously creeped out. It's not the HOA I called them. Our manager is out of town this week so no one from their office would be taking pics. It wasn't an appraiser or realtor, they used a phone cam and were too close for a decent pic. 4951
if your son is handsome , maybe someone wanted a photo of him & sent someone to get it so they would not be recognized by your son. We had girls driving by our house all the time taking pics of our sons . 4951
I have taken photos of peoples homes before too (but never with someone outside, and if they were, I asked first). Just yesterday I took a picture of someone's front walkway, because I want to redo mine and I liked how theirs looked. 4951
i can almost guarantee it was the HOA, they hire their teenagers to take pictures for them. Â That same car was around our neighborhood as well a few months back, and low and behold I got a letter! Â I even called and reported it to the HOA and they said "We dont have anyone that has a car fitting that description" Â Guess they dont know everyone working for them eh? 4951
Sometimes homeowners insurance do photograph especially during hurricane season to see condition of roofs. They will send a letter remarking on condition of roof or any problem they see. 4951
My ins company does it occasionally on our rent houses. They do send a post card and say they that house was recently photographed and no problems detected. I didn't know ins companies did that until I got the first postcard. 4951
