I just heard that Johnson's Creamy Baby Oil Aloe Vera & Vitamin E can be used as a mosquito repellent.  Has anyone tried this? 4951

I saw that on FB. I'm curious if it works also because my 10 year old gets eaten alive. I may have to go buy some. I just hate to test it on her because I swear you can play connect the dots on her arms and legs below the knee. I made her wear stretch pants under her pretty dress for awards at school because her bites were so bad I didn't want people to think there was something wrong with her. Let me know if you here anything else about it.

[quote-tag-mismatch] I swear you can play connect the dots on her arms and legs below the knee.
@dotti573: My 7 year old is the exact same way!

Motor Oil works great as a mosquito repellent, just a tad greasy and hard to remove. But the little buggers don't like it!

Interesting.  It's worth a try.  I'll get some this weekend and report back.  The bugs love me, but I don't usually react too poorly to them, so I'm a good test subject.  Ha!I hate bug spray.  I use it, but I hate it.  Even the "clean feeling" ones feel icky to me after a while and I don't want to have to shower the very SECOND I come in from the backyard. 4951
