Funny I was there for lunch yesterday as well!I really enjoyed my fajitas - maybe it was the margarita that helped, though. That said, it was overpriced, though I can't get too mad at them for that mistake on my part. Mainly, I let them bamboozle me. The server told me she would give me the "special" margarita for $9. I told her to give me just the regular one (not top shelf). It still came to $9. In addition, my friend and I were each going to get the lunch fajitas ($8.50 each); server asked if we wanted the fajitas for two, and we thought that would be perfect - just enough as we weren't overly hungry. The portion was huge and the cost for those was $22.50. So, expensive lunch overall. The only thing easing the monetary sting is that I had fajitas for dinner last night and will have more for lunch today.I didn't try the beans. Rice was on the dry side. Chips were warm and delicious.
@ctl74: If you ask her to, Nelly will bring you the special chips that are quartered tortillas instead of or in addition to the regular chips. These are the thicker ones they serve with the queso. Nelly is a fabulous server, just like being served by Mom at home. You might get some sass and flack along with it, but she will definitely take good care of you, and you will feel like her all-time favorite customer.
