Light rain and showers from small bands will be the predominant form of precip over the area this morning. The heavier rain band should traverse the area in the midday to mid-afternoon timeframe. Heavy rains are still quite likely, despite the relative calmness this morning, but likely not favorable to severe flooding. TS Bill is strengthening a bit, with an eye formation and pressures dropping below 1000 mb. Max sustained winds have increased to around 60 knots. The storm will come ashore about 100 miles SW of Galveston.
