I started a new diet this week after my other attempts this year haven't yielded results. I have done just about every diet under the sun, usually I can low carb and lose weight, but that has stopped working.
New one is "The Appetite Solution", made sense to me, we'll see. First two weeks you have to eat exactly as he says and no exercise that you haven't already been doing. I can't actually eat all of it, so he says protein first. After that it boils down to a high protein, no/very low simple sugar. But not high fat like Atkins.
If I gain weight I'll be **** off, lol.
The author is a bariatric doctor. Generally doctors aren't all that informed about nutrition and metabolism, but it's his specialty.
