Has anybody taken a class? Is there anywhere local that offers such classes? 4951

Does the Leisure Learning program still exist? I saw them listed in there some years ago. It was available online and with the papers like The Houston Press. 4951

Well Central Market cooking is on Westhiemer, and the Houston Sushi club holds their Sushi classes on Alabama, so either would be a drive unless they happen to do one here.I think it would be cool, I think DD1 and hubby took one in Dallas once and loved it. But they still don't make their own Shushi. They still go out.It seems a little restrictive for a couple/few people to buy the ingredients to make a variety unless you are having a party or something. 4951

We loved our class with Carl Rosa. didn't know that he sometimes offers free classes, that would be awesome. We bought ours through a Living Social deal, and he offers that pretty frequently. He's extremely knowledgeable and the class is a lot of fun. 4951

@HollyHobby: What he does at the library free are not really classes. More an educational over view but if he has time he does do some hands on...here he is with my daughter @kingwood Library about 2 years ago. Loading Image...Loading Image...
