>> Take a drive around 59 & Little York...there are dogs dumped there daily. I work in that area unfortunately and see dogs in deplorable condition and dogs are hit all the time. I feed the dogs that come in our parking lot. It really bothers me how people just don't care.

I grew up of of Hopper. It's just as bad there. When I lived in the area, I would make it a habit to carry water and dog food in my car for when I ran into strays that I couldn't catch and re-home. It breaks my heart to see an animal suffer, especially at the hands of human negligence. All creatures deserve love, and for an animal to love and trust someone unconditionally just to be abused or tossed out like yesterday's new is positively deplorable.

I have food in my car too. People just think that because they are animals the can take care of themselves. They can't, humans domesticated them and bred that out of them so it's the humans that need to take care of them. If you can't, don't own animals. 4951
