So I like to look at real estate for the fun of it, mostly expensive homes (500K and up) just to see what you can get for your $$. Growing up on Long Island (NY) where housing prices and taxes are just stupid high, it's fun to see what you can get here in TX. But OMG, what is with the disparity in prices around here?! I am looking now for my MIL so I am looking at more "reasonably" priced homes (200K and under), and some people are just out of their minds. Here in Trailwood Village alone, there is a huge gap in the market. I mean I get it that you list above what you really want because people are going to offer low and then negotiate, but seriously?!Beautiful home, little dated, but meticulously kept. I would have said $250k:Â
