While I like many different hot sauces, the Louisiana Hot Sauce made by Bruce Foods has been my favorite for many years. Good flavor with just enough heat. However, the last bottle I used seemed to lack flavor and heat. It appeared to be diluted. I thought maybe it was a fluke. I used up that bottle and opened a new bottle purchased at a different time (and maybe different store). It is diluted as well and now resides in the trash can.I contacted Bruce Foods to complain and their response was that most of their hot sauce product line (including Louisiana Hot Sauce) had been recently sold to Southeastern Mills. The labels on the bottles still show Bruce Foods. So my guess is either Bruce Foods is still making it for Southeastern Mills and just doesn't care anymore, or Southeastern Mills has messed with the recipe. I sent an email to Southeastern Mills today and am curious about what they will say.  There are too many hot sauces out there for them to be messing with a proven product. If the product is going to remain diluted, I'll be looking for a new favorite hot sauce. I like Crystals and Cholula. Anyone have any other recommendations? I use Tabasco, but only for certain things. I like a good moderate hot sauce for everyday use.
@Retired_Engineer: That's the brand we use. That's too bad. They messed up a really good product. 4951
