My parents will be married 62 years this month.  The last movie my father saw in a theatre was Patton.  True story.  What is the last movie you saw in a theatre? 4951

@SumBeach: San Andreas a few house ago, but you need to take your folks to the movies they have come a long way, special effects, clarity and sound, I'm hooked on the SDX theater. Its no longer a movie its an adventure!

We saw Fury in the theater.  Before that was Lincoln.When we were engaged, we took my parents to the movies (about 39 years ago).  I think it had Liza Minelli and Burt Reynolds in it.  My mom had taken us to see movies when we were younger, but that was the first movie my dad had seen a movie in a theater in over 30 years.  I don't think he ever went again. 4951
