For me, York PA. I have soo many many crazy stories from this place I could write a book. The band Live even has a song about it no kidding:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zW6nRQUG694Only way I could really describe it as take the worse people you have ever seen in Walmart and give them the keys to a city and let them run it.  It's that bad. Once I waited in line at the grocery store for 25 minutes because the cashier did not know what a pear was and called the manager who also did not know. They also have some of the most restrictive alcohol laws in the country. You can't buy beer or wine anywhere but state controlled stores. And if it's in the cooler you are paying a 20% markup.   They just started selling it in  grocery stores but there is a catch. You have to buy it, walk out put it in your car, then, then you can come back inside to buy groceries. Effin Insane!!!! 4951

It was a pit. No entertainment whatsoever. The only thing to do there is drink and chase college women. That was fine when I was in college, not so much when you're older.

Elkton, MDToo cold, nothing to do there, too many deer running Into the street.  Almost hit several.  Small town feel isn't my thing.  It was nice to be near Delaware for the tax benefits.   4951

Come on people, stack the deck on your most hated town...give some details on why. Just putting down a city and state. You must have not hated it that bad if you don't want to vent on it.       4951

One time in York, PA, I was going inside the grocery store when the couple in front of me suddenly stopped and turned around. The guy asked his lady, what's wrong? She said she could not go in there. Why he asked? She replied, " I got caught shoplifting in their last week".Lol! I have no less than 50 stories of this kind of stuff.   4951

Woodland Hills apartments

Management was a joke and maintenance never figured out that flooding in front of my apt would not be remedied by putting in a drain ABOVE the area that flooded. Duh. Downhill. Like over there where the water is collecting.

This was in the early 90's. 4951

Staten Island NY.  Place is literally NYC's garbage dump.  Crappy first apartment, garden style building.  Came home after a long weekend and found brown stains all over my door and the entry hallway.  Seems somebody got shot in the school yard across the street, stumbled over and died on my doorstep. Drug deal gone bad.    4951

They also took the old Saturn dealership and turned it into a church. I liked to call it Saturn Worshipers. They didn't even have a real preacher, it was all broadcasted on a big screen. The parking lot on Sundays though was always packed house! Most of them also drove, you guessed it; Saturns. I can't make this stuff up. 4951

We really haven't lived much anywhere but here and youngstown. But when we drive thru Arkansas I tell you what they are just their own breed up there. Every gas station bathroom is hideous and I swear I have yet to meet someone with teeth that lives there 4951

enough said on that.
With all this rain I'm better off in Oregon.

My plan is to go back to Arizona as home base and just get in an rv and roll.
As I say if I roll in and the air stinks, I'm rollin right back out.

Went to the state park for mothers day. Planned a
nice family bbq on the beach and playing in the sand and water with the dog. I never let him sit on the sand.

@BooBear:  When did you live in Zachary?  That's just a few miles north of where I grew up!As for me, I have no complaints about any of the places where I've lived.   Ruston and Monroe, LA were in the Baptist Bible Belt and a little quiet for a college kid, but I wouldn't mind living there now.Lincoln Parish, where Ruston and LA Tech are, was dry during my first year in college.  On Friday afternoon, there were caravans of Tech students driving to the next Parish where there was a full liquor store.  LA then said parishes could not be dry, it had to be by municipality (except for low alcohol beer, which was allowed everywhere).  Ruston promptly voted to remain dry, but Grambling (three miles away and home of Grambling State University) voted to allow all alcohol.  So, after that, we had a three mile drive for liquor instead of 30 miles.
