Since they opened the Kingwood location, we have been a fan. The owner/manager is a very nice guy that we've talked to before. This evening, my wife stops by to pick up dinner to bring home. When ordering, she was told that they only had 1/4 lb of ribs left. They were "out" of several side dishes. They had no plastic tops for the side dishes, so they used plastic wrap.My wife asked the clerk if they had been busy today. She replied, "No, it's been real slow". My wife then asked to speak to the Manager. She was told that "he is focusing on the Humble location" and isn't around much anymore. When asked why they were short of so many things, my wife was told that they didn't order enough. As much as I like the manager/owner, these are all managerial problems. From this incident, I can infer that the Kingwood location will not be open much longer. If that's the case, we'll be returning to Tin Roof or Spring Creek when we want BBQ (or our
@BBQguy).If the Kingwood store isn't making enough money, they would be better off just shutting it down rather than driving customers away. 4951
