Any recommendations where to shop, we've been to Lowes, HD and Chair King yesterday.  Feeling a little sticker shock I guess, especially at Chair King.  4951

If you don't mind Internet shopping check out Wayfair.com.  I have not found much in the local stores so am ordering from them 4951

@Mustang40:

There was some pretty outdoor pieces at the big Kroger, but not much variety. 4951

I know I did well at Target last Summer, the week before the Fourth. I got a huge round glass/iron table for 50% off; then an additional 10% off with the Target Cartwheel app. Oh and I use the Target Red debit card - that's another 5%. I spent about $55 on the table. Sling back chairs run around $17. 9' market umbrellas are on sale at Kroger right now for $29 (down from $39). So, it's not bad when you piece it together that way!

Don't forget, too, to buy gift cards for these stores at Kroger for the gas points. And Kroger is doing 2x fuel points if you shop Fri-Sun (download it onto your card). It all adds up in the long run!! 4951

They're always expensive. I shopped for a year before buying new coushions for my furniture- still ended up spending $350. I got them from garden ridge and here less than a year later they already look old. Boo.

I have hand me downs from Grandma. Construction was awesome decades ago. I just give it some paint when it starts looking faded. 4951

Another online suggestion - Sears has what appears to be a decent selection.  The one thing I DON'T like about shopping for furniture online is you have no idea about the construction, sturdiness, etc.  I found a huge difference just in scoping out brick and mortar stores for the daughter last week. 4951

@mart what specifically are you looking for? I ask because you can find wrought iron chairs at thrift shops. Also, we ordered our outdoor bar from Sears. Post some pics of what your looking for.! 4951
