I almost ran across one on the green belt near East End Park yesterday. I thought it was a stick until I got closer. I ended up stumbling into some standing water nearby to avoid it. Was not my most elegant moment. 4951

@Spork: The dog and I ran into one on the green belt by the Hunter's Ridge pool late yesterday.

It's OK to want to kill It, according to the Bible it's a natural response to a possible danger.Genesis 3:15Good News Translation (GNT)15 I will make you and the woman hate each other; her offspring and yours will always be enemies. Her offspring will crush your head, and you will bite her offspring's heel.”OK I'm being a little sarcastic but I really don't like snakes either. 4951

I like snakes!!! Used to have a python that we lost to Ike. We're bigger than they are. Just like mice & spiders. Nothung to be afraid of if they aren't hurting anything. They're beneficial to nature. (Roaches are different though. They're in a league of their own.) 4951

We're bigger than they are & they're afraid of us too. I doubt that they're MORE afraid of us than we are of them though, because those little bastards are terrifying! lol! 4951

@Ray: Thanks to idiots like him the ecosystem of the everglades is being destroyed and suburbanites in the Miami area are finding these monsters in their pools.
