As most of you know, I love to smoke & grill delicious meats as much as possible. I've been hooked on it, perfecting it, and sharing it with others ever since I lit my first fire. And my heart aches for people that lack the knowledge, equipment, and/or time to make these tasty treats for themselves. They are then forced to either go without or pay a hefty sum for it at a restaurant. Emoticon I'm here to help remedy that. Emoticon I'm offering to trim, rub, cook, slice, chop, pull, and package any meat you bring me for $1/lb. That's any cut of pig, cow, chicken, turkey, or anything else you picked up at the market. I know you're thinking that $1/lb seems very low...And you'd be right. That pretty much just pays for the wood/charcoal, seasonings, pans, etc.. used to prepare your goodies. Again, I'm doing this because I love it...And the only thing better than tending a fire all day/night to produce a mouthwatering product, is full bellies and smiling faces. Emoticon Also, if you're not sure of what meat to buy, I can help you with that too. I'd be happy to give you advice before you shop, or even meet you at a store.  So the next time you're wanting to take advantage of a meat sale at your favorite grocery store, but you're too busy to cook or have no idea what to do with it, just let me know. You can comment here or send me a PM with any questions you have. Emoticon.........This thread is Joe(KDC) approved!  4951

@BBQGuy, that sounds like a fabulous offer.  I know you have been helping people by word of mouth for a while, but it's so good of you to open it up to everyone. Wishing you all the best with your venture.  Now I have to decide what to purchase and have you smoke.  I will definitely be taking advantage of this service.  It will also give me an excuse to go inside and visit the Mrs. in the Lady Lair again.  Love me some red chairs and gumball machines!!!Excellent post, my friend!  Best of luck! 4951

@BBQguy:
So basically you'll rub and pull my meat for a dollar? And according to Ray I can expect multiple mouth orgasms?

Assuming we're talking about the same thing, this seems like you should really charge more than a dollar.

If I do this are you going to make me play with your hair during the rub and pull? I'll probably do it anyway, cuz I like to give back, but I'm just giving you a ... heads-up.

@BBQGuy:  Maybe $1.00 a pound introductory price for your first smoke job, or maybe the first 10 lbs.  Then, once they are hooked, go up to your "normal" price, whatever you set that to be.  4951

@CBP210: Sure. I do quite a bit of deer meat. I have a friend who hunts but doesn't cook, so we trade. He has it processed, then I cook what he wants out of it and he lets me keep the rest.
I can do blackened fish or smoked salmon. Blackened red fish is one of my favorites actually. Seafood is one of those things we mostly go out for, but I do cook it for the wifey on occasion. I also cooked bacon wrapped shrimp for a "ladies" party one time. I think there was 20 lbs of it, and it took 3 rounds on my 37.5" Weber. Emoticon  4951
