The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning to residents living near the West Fork of the San Jacinto River starting on Thursday, May 14th until the end of the weekend. This includes residents in Forest Cove, North Shore, River Crest, and Belleau Woods. Flooding may occur due to high levels of rainfall, ground saturation and release for the upstream Lake Conroe damn. While levels are not expected to damage homes they may flood streets and disrupt access to communities. Source:http://www.yourhoustonnews.com/kingwood/news/flood-warning-for-west-fork-of-the-san-jacinto-river/article_8c76d382-53a4-5c54-883d-c65e0a407cdd.html 4951

To reclaim the hijacked thread.........I always feel sorry for the folks in Forest Cove and Belleau Woods after the "great flood" years ago. Hoping the rain stays away, but nothing can be done about all the water coming from the Conroe area this way. 4951
