You can take it down to either I45 or I10-I always forget which one until I see the sign....I think it's I10. 4951

It doesn't go as far as the medical center. Only goes to downtown. You can get of on to 59 just north of I10 & use 59 the rest of the way, it says MAIN LANES or something to that affect. Or take it to the end & go thru downtown. 4951

It ends downtown. The BEST way would be to take the HOV to the "main lanes/I-10" exit, and stay on 59 to 288. But if you're doing that during the busy part of rush hour, forget it. It's not worth it - you'll sit in traffic the whole way. Instead, I'd take the HOV all the way downtown - turn right in front of Minute Maid and then take a left on the first street you can - stay on it until you get to Gray - I think it's the street right AFTER Gray where you turn left. It spits you off right before the 288 turnoff. You'll still sit in a little traffic, but after the split, it usually clears up and by then, you're pretty close to the Med Center exits.My description sucks, I know. I do this most every Friday, but I don't know street names. 4951
