I bought a blower and a gas hedge trimmer. The blower lasted a year. The trimmer, less than two. Both items, very difficult to start, even when new. And both items, the gas tanks either leaked or the fuel line broke inside of it. Complete pieces of garbage. Never buy this brand. Worst stuff on the market.   4951

My husband just bought a Ryboi blower & weed whacker. He loves them. But they are less than 2 months old & chargeable. No gas................... 4951

I bought an edger/weedeater ten years ago and it is still kicking. I did have to tweek on the carb once to get it to start better but have had good luck with it. 4951

Ten years ago, maybe the quality was better. All I know is this is the second issue I have had with their stuff in less than 3 years and I take exceptional care of it. None of my other equipment craps out like Ryobi.Like I stated, from day one, both were hard to start. My Husquavarna lawn mower and trimmer starts first pull every time for years. 4951

If you are using the "87" that has 10% ethanol gas in your yard equipment the ethanol causes corrosion of metal parts. I have the rechargable blower and weedeater by ryobi and love them . 4951
