First off, let me emphasize that I am NOT talking about the Sears Hardware and Appliance stores. I have been a fan of Sears for a long time and will continue to be.  However, I will never do business with their online store again. On April 4, I was looking for a new gasoline engine powered pressure washer.  I found one using Sears.com that was on sale and it said that it was in inventory at the Sears Hardware store up by Hwy 59/I-69.  It actually said that the Kingwood store had 5 in inventory.  I could just order it and pick it up from there.  So, I ordered it and a few other things to save some time.  The total charge for everything hit my credit card account that evening.A few hours later, I get an email telling me that the Kingwood store does NOT have those items in inventory.  However, I could pick them up from others stores (they named two on the other side of Houston) or I could get them delivered with no shipping fees.  I didn't feel like driving across town (and at this point, I didn't trust their inventory system either), so I opted to have them shipped.  The next day, I get confirmation of the order but they would divide it into two shipments.  The pressure washer would not be delivered until Friday, April 17.  I got the first shipment fine.  April 17 came and went with no pressure washer.  I gave it a few extra days because of all of the storms we've been having.  Yesterday, I contacted Sears.com and asked where my shipment was.  After a considerable delay, they reported that the second part of the order "did not process".  I explained that I had already paid for the pressure washer and still wanted it.  Another considerable delay to check to see that I did indeed pay for something that I did not receive.  HOWEVER, they would have to do two separate actions:They will submit an internal financial verification request on my initial order and refund me the money on the unfulfilled item(s).  This could take two weeks.  They would reorder the pressure washer for me, but it had to be a new order and they would have to charge my credit card again for that amount.  Which I finally agreed to.  My pressure washer should be here Friday, April 24.  So, even though I like Sears, I will NEVER use their online Sears.com again!  Their inventory of individual stores is obviously screwed up. They apparently know this and are not concerned about it.  They said it would take two weeks initially to deliver the pressure washer (I guess I'm used to Amazon.com Prime deliveries).  They "lost" part of my initial order (specifically the pressure washer) even though I had already been charged for it. It could take up to two weeks to refund that "lost" order. I have complained to Sears.com Customer Service twice.  The only response I got was typical corporate BS and they didn't even seem sorry or concerned.  I will never use Sears.com online shopping again.  If Amazon.com had the pressure washer I wanted, I would have cancelled the Sears order and ordered from Amazon.I also disputed most of the original charge on VISA because I really do not trust Sears to handle the refund without a little push from VISA.  I talked to VISA today and they will give me a temporary credit until the refund happens. 4951

I had ordered my dishwasher with the install kit and only got my dishwasher. After a few days I walked into the store and the manager made it right by just handing me the install kit off the shelf. I keep going there for that one simple act of good customer service. He didn't have to do that. 4951

Get this.... when my wife returned home a little while ago, there was a boxed pressure washer sitting on the driveway in front of our garage door.  I've been home all day but no one knocked or anything.  It got delivered in ONE DAY when my original order was going to take TWO WEEKS.Sheesh, talk about inconsistent!  Emoticon 4951
