Hubby has a skin tag on his arm that is catching on clothing.

Aside for waiting for the dermatologist, who else can remove them? Medspring or Nextcare?

Do it yourself isn't an option. 4951

My momma used to tell me to tie a thread around it which will slowly strangulate it, but I haven't actually tried it. 4951

I'll pile in with "tie it off with a string" crowd.  I've done that successfully on one I had.  It dried up and fell off in about a week, as advertised.  There was never an open wound to get infected or anything. On another I just said the heck with it and cut it off with a pair of nail clippers.  That hurt quite a bit, so I wouldn't recommend it. 4951

If it's a relatively flat one that would be hard to tie off, you can put a piece of duct tape. The salicylic acid in the tape will dissolve it! 4951

Clear nail polish. Re- do it every day, and it will die off. Works for warts too.  4951
