Of course, even if Iran follows the terms of the deal, they can still have nuclear weapons within 15 years.  "FARS agency quotes Zarif,
Salehi telling MPs they’ll inject gas into IR-8 centrifuges, a breach of
US-published framework terms that would make a mockery of deal."Read more: Iran news report: Tehran will start using fastest centrifuges on day deal takes effect | The Times of Israel www.timesofisrael.co m/iran-news-report-t ehran-will-start-usi ng-fastest-cent

This is one of the biggest misconceptions about the proposed deal circulating.  No where in the deal as I understand it does it say Iran will be allowed to have a nuclear weapon in 15 years.  What the deal that was negotiated by 6 countries (China, Russia, France, Germany,Great Britain and the U.S.) does say is Iran agrees not to seek to have a nuclear weapon for 15 years.  A whole different connotation wouldn't you say? After the 15 years I suppose there could be more negotiation.  However all parties involve are emphatically against Iran EVER obtaining the "bomb" no matter what.  All these agreements are seeking to do is avert military confrontation for as long as possible.*EDIT*If the deal holds and Iran ultimately violates it, not only will they have double crossed the U.S. but they would also betray 5 other powerful nations.  Wouldn't be a smart move on their part in my view 4951

"This is one of the
biggest misconceptions about the proposed deal circulating.  No where in
the deal as I understand it does it say Iran will be allowed to have a
nuclear weapon in 15 years."Yes, here's another person who voiced that misconception."What is a more relevant fear would be that in Year 13, 14, 15, they
have advanced centrifuges that enrich uranium fairly rapidly, and at
that point, the breakout times would have shrunk almost down to zero," BTW, that quote is from President Obama. The deal, according to the info presented about it from the Obama Administration, removes restrictions by year 15.  So even under the agreement, Iran won't be in violation if they obtain a bomb around year 15.However, Iran also published terms of the "deal".  According to what Iran indicates, the restrictions are even less severe and the restrictions are lifted even earlier.Of course, there isn't even a framework for a deal. Iran has vowed to violate the deal.  The UN nuclear watchdog pointed out that they won't be able to monitor Iran, and Iran has already failed to cooperate with the pre-deal monitoring agreement.   So the terms of the deal don't matter. 4951

It would seem to me that since the U.S. and others have vowed Iran will never be allowed to obtain the bomb they only invite military action upon themselves even after year 15.  For those that don't trust President Obama to keep to that word he will not be in office at the time this propose agreement expires.  It will be up to the future Emoticonresident to continue the no nukes for Iran policy. 4951

That's the point.  Iran won't follow the deal. Iran doesn't agree even now as to the terms of the deal. Even under the terms of the deal, as specified by the Obama admin, Iran will obtain a nuke. The deal is worthless.  It's a waste of time.  It's a smoke screen that provides a false sense of security.  It's a diversion that removes nuclear sanctions and removes eyes from Iran's activities. 4951
