Growing up, the only thing I new how to "cook" for myself is grilled cheese. It also meant it was time for another grocery store trip and it was slim pickings in the freezer and not much left but cereal, PB&J, etc. Not great choices for a picky-eating kid. So, please forgive me when I don't get terribly excited about grilled cheese, no matter how much you dress and fancy it up. I know countless people love it, but to me, it just represents very close to last resort of food choices. I just can't imagine going out and ordering grilled cheese, unless you are trying to pacify a toddler.Â
@donnatella: Please forgive you? How can you be forgiven for having personal food preferences different than my own?Maybe this is what my ex coworker was talking about when she told me I had "an unrefined palate".
