Ok I know DD was able to wear Bermuda (knee length) shorts in elementary school last year, I'm just wanting to know if anyone with girls knows if that's still cool this year. Schools are constantly changing dress code & I'd rather be safe than sorry. So has anyone sent their chicka to elementary school at Humble ISD in Bermuda shorts this school year? Or any teachers who can give me the green or red light? Thanks. 4951

I was surprised that girls can wear the Nike shorts to KHS.

My DD is 10 and she said you can wear anything as long as when you put your arms down at your sides they are longer than your fingers. 4951

The "past your fingers" thing is generally a rule, but I've never heard about it being enforced in my kids' schools. I don't have any girls, but my nephew has talked about girls at his school wearing bottoms that can't even be seen past the bottom of their shirt. 4951
