@caroline7327:  I agree.  I used to get it frequently.  Now, it only happens once-in-a-while, but it's still a pain!  Tonight is one of those nights.  I'm starting to get a little groggy, but not enough to fall asleep as soon as I get in bed.  If I lay down now, my brain will jump from subject to subject.

I battle it frequently. I'm naturally a night owl, but when you have to get up and go to work, it's no fun at all. 4951

Been happening to me lately. I've been having dreams that awaken me and I can't get back to sleep.

It's the pits, I'm the same way. In my case it's hereditary, my mother(had), me, and my son have it!!!! On the weekends I stay up until my body shuts down, if I turn it at normal work day time my mind goes on a roller coaster. Since I was on the SAP testing project I was delirious about test cases!!!!!!! 4951

I've had insomnia my entire life. It doesn't help that I am naturally a night owl as well. My problem is, I just can't seem to turn my brain off at night. For some reason, that's when I tend to do my best thinking. When I do finally fall asleep, I've been known to bolt straight out of bed and go fix some problem or whatever that was wrong at the time (whether it be school works or even home improvement projects I was unsure of how to do) because the answer came to me in my sleep. Sounds weird, I know, but it's true! Then again, I've never claimed to be normal lol. 4951
